Dr. Maria Awais is a specialist in Internal medicine with extensive experience in various fields such as endocrinology, diabetes, and respiratory illnesses, currently working in emirates specialty hospital DHCC, Dubai. She graduated from one of the most prestigious medical institute in Pakistan, King Edward Medical College in 2005. Since her graduation she has worked in multiple countries including Pakistan, Oman, and UAE. With more than 15 years of experience, Dr Maria brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and expertise. Dr Maria prides herself in being a thoroughly holistic specialist who pays attention to all aspects of patient care and needs.    

Dr. Maria has gained excellent qualification while working as doctor over the last 15 years. She is a member of Royal College of Physicians in both Ireland and Glasgow (MRCPI & MRCPS-Glasgow). She has a post graduate speciality certificate in endocrinology & diabetes from UK (SCE-RCP London) and has acquired a postgrad diploma respiratory medicine through the Royal College of London. Most recently she has passed Royal College of Emergency medicine of UK exams (MRCEM) to enhance her ability to deal with emergencies. 

Dr. Maria Awais is dedicated to enhancing patient care through continuous education and specialization. Currently pursuing a Masters in Obesity and Weight Management from the University of South Wales, UK, Dr. Awais is committed to staying at the forefront of advancements in healthcare to deliver comprehensive and personalized treatment solutions for her patients. She is fluent in multiple language including Urdu, Hindi, English. Her multilingual and multicultural background makes her stand out when it comes to communication with patients and understanding of her patients’ personal and cultural needs.
